REPUTATION is ‘high risk’ for Queensland local governments.

In a recent survey conducted by AON Insurance, it was identified that a council’s REPUTATION was high on the RISK ladder.

Queensland councils play important roles in governance and are accountable to their local community for their decisions, actions and services.

As the 2020 Queensland Local Government Elections approach,  there are opportunities to increase community engagement and favour, blur some of the sector’s past challenges and improve reputation.

So how do we do this?  We (Peak Services) can assist in the upskilling of Elected Members in 2020 and for the next term.

Many councils are already actively working on Elected Member Induction programs and other activities to ensure all elected members are well briefed on the expectations of their role and their responsibilities under the Local Government Act 2009.  Peak Training has been engaged to provide a number of these services to councils.

As the Local Government experts in training, to follow you will find our list of services available, most of which are customisable as required.
