Supporting Councils During COVID-19

Peak Services' first and foremost concern is the health and wellbeing of you our customer, your community and our team. Whilst we are taking the appropriate safety measures during these difficult times, our focus is to continue delivering for our clients with as minimal disruption as possible. At this point in time all service areas remain fully operational as per normal. We know many of you rely on our services in your daily operations – we will be doing everything we can to keep providing support to you.

The team at Peak are well set up to work remotely where needed, this is in accordance with our business continuity plan. As becomes necessary to activate stages of this plan, or where required to by our clients, we will engage with you on an individual basis to confirm how we will continue working together for continuity of service delivery.

The measures that we have in place to provide peace of mind to our clients, include;

Videoconferencing or teleconferencing for meetings. This may include Skype or other technology and we will include details in calendar invites to enable easy connection.

Whilst we are restricting travel during this period, where appropriate, agreed and absolutely necessary staff will visit council sites via road transport. The use of air travel for work purposes will be restricted and only where it is essential, able to occur and with your consent.

For any of our team that have travelled internationally, they will follow the government’s 14-day quarantine requirement, effective 16 March 2020.

We are ensuring our staff are following Queensland Health’s requirements.  We will take immediate action in the event one of our staff becomes unwell with the virus.

These are certainly challenging and difficult times - we are here to assist you in any way we can.
