Way Out West Fest

The inaugural Way Out West Fest was held in Winton recently, celebrating the reopening of the Waltzing Matilda Centre.  Opened by the Governor General and Premier on 20 April with a four-day celebration proudly supported by Peak Services.

More than 6,000 festival goers attended the event with a great line up of local and well known Australian musicians including Jessica Mauboy, John Williamson, Sheppard, Russell Morris, The Black Sorrows and, from the USA, Kip Moore and Lee Brice. Other events over the festival included; Throw the Billy on the Bush Brekky, songwriting workshops, local arts and craft and horse racing.

Peak has a focus is to assist and guide local councils and organizations through projects that improve community outcomes and enhance service delivery. Peak is here to benefit communities and to create a sustainable tomorrow.
