Learning Outcomes
Participants will gain an understanding of the legislation and compliance pertaining to the Local Government Worker role; increase their knowledge of the Local Government Act and they gain an increased understanding of the powers and responsibilities of their roles
eLearning Summary
Our eLearning course introduces the role of the Government Authorised Person, focussing on legislation. During this course, participants will gain an improved understanding of the legal processes within their role and how better to interpret the Acts they administer. Authorised Persons are appointed by a council CEO under the Local Government Act 2009 (QLD) to ensure members of the public comply with their responsibilities under various Queensland Acts.
