We've partnered with Country Universities Centre, LGIAsuper and the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland (TMR), to bring you another informative series of HR Masterclasses over 6 full-day sessions, across Queensland from May to September.
The theme this year is 'Attraction and Retention - finding solutions for Councils and their communities'.
You'll hear from Peak's Legal and Workforce Team about contract negotiation, offering flexibility and providing incentives like paying superannuation while on paid parental leave. Our Recruitment team will discuss talent acquisition, how to develop employee value propositions and using the correct advertising formula to attract the right candidates.
Duncan Taylor, CEO of Country Universities Centre will lead a session on the CUC model that was an initiative of Snowy Hydro to address recruitment challenges and skills shortages and has grown throughout NSW and into Southwest Queensland.
And, LGIA Super will provide insights about financial wellness supporting employee attraction and retention.
