Authorised Persons (Inc. Local Gov. Worker) - eLearning Course

We provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications (local government specific) and council-specific non-accredited short courses as well as other professional development training options.

Who should Attend?

This workshop provides topics to cover the legislative requirements and functions of the Queensland Authorised Person.  The Authorised Persons course is suited to local laws officers, animal management and biosecurity officers, environmental health officers, water and sewerage workers and supervisors. It introduces the role of the Authorised Person, focusing on legislation.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will gain an understanding of the legislation and compliance pertaining to the Authorised Person and Local Government Worker role; increase their knowledge of the Local Government Act and they gain an increased understanding of the powers and responsibilities of their roles

eLearning Summary

Our course includes the Local Government Worker component. There is no legislative timeframes with regards to “refresher” training but each 24 months is recommended.
