Risk Assessment and Management

We provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications (local government specific) and council-specific non-accredited short courses as well as other professional development training options.

Who should Attend?

All council staff, line managers and supervisors. This course covers crucial assessment and management of risk within a workplace which is the responsibility of all staff members. Peak will incorporate councils’ current risk management policies and procedures into this program.

Learning Outcomes

As all staff will benefit from this training course, the learning outcomes will raise awareness of workplace risks, to help improve the ‘risk identification and recording processes’.

Our workshop will instil the “it’s everyone’s responsibility” mindset and ultimately help mitigate risks within the workplace. Participants will gain a higher level of understanding about workplace risks and how they can seriously harm an organisation. Case studies will be included in this training event.
