Tendering for Local Government

We provide a range of nationally recognised qualifications (local government specific) and council-specific non-accredited short courses as well as other professional development training options.

Who should Attend?

This is a ½ day course, designed to provide those tasked with running tender processes the information they need to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policy.

It needs to be acknowledged up front that individual councils will have different procedures and processes for tendering. This course is not designed to drill down to procedural and process level but rather to give an overview of local government tendering and the policies and principles that would apply to most organisations.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the basic principles and best practices in tender writing for local government
  • Gain skills and confidence in bid writing.
