There in no doubt that the COVID pandemic has reshaped the way we work. Employee's now have more flexibility to work when, where and how in delivering their role. Indeed, working flexibly is now the norm rather than the exception. This mode of work now places significant pressure on leaders to manage teams effectively in a virtual environment. This session teaches managers how to lead with a sense of trust and purpose to maximise organisational goals. Topics include:
- How to maintain staff accountability
- Participants will learn how to ensure staff are on task and delivering their roles in a virtual environment. Accountability requires the avoidance of 'helicoptering' staff while developing trust and responsibility.
- How to develop a shared purpose
- Participants will learn how to develop and maintain commonality within their teams by providing a sense of 'shared purpose'.
- Maintaining constant communication and staff recognition
- Participants will learn the importance of consistent communication and ideas for recognition of staff achievements - vital skills for the on-going engagement of staff working virtually.
