About Peter

Peter Morichovitis is a Procurement and Supply Chain leader with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors including government, utilities, resources, manufacturing and construction.  Over the past ten years Peter has been at the City of Gold Coast, holding the roles of Chief Procurement Officer and Chief Information Officer.  

He is a Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional, and Fellow under the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Peter possesses a Master’s degree in Marketing as well as undergraduate qualifications in Commerce and Journalism.  He is also an accredited Black Belt in Six Sigma methodology. 

Peters procurement expertise has been externally acknowledged on a number of occasions.  Namely, he has been crowned Australasian Procurement and Supply Chain Management Professional of the Year by CIPS and led the City of Gold Coast to win Best Global Procurement Transformation at the Procurement Leaders Global Awards.
