Part of the NIAA and Indigenous Advancement Strategy, applicant’s will be invited to apply for funding to address an identified need. The objective of the Local Investments Funding grant opportunity is to deliver outcomes aligned to community and government priorities by funding small scale, short term, one-off proposals which have community support, from infrastructure to community activities, they will contribute to Closing the Gap. The intended outcome is that urgent, small scale, local, community projects are supported, benefiting First Nations people and facilitating positive community engagement with government initiatives.
