About Melody

Melody is an experienced employment lawyer with expertise in industrial and employee relations.

Melody advises clients on a range of industrial and employment law matters, including enterprise bargaining, general protections, unfair dismissal, discrimination, workplace bullying and sexual harassment, and performance and disciplinary matters.

Melody has experience in both the public and private sector including State government, private practice, and member associations.

Melody provides strategic and commercial advice, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Melody martin

Melody has worked for several years for Independent Schools Queensland, a member association for independent schools. In that role, she managed enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, employee disciplinary matters and unfair dismissals for independent schools, and provided advice on Award and Agreement interpretation.

Melody worked for an energy Government Owned Corporation for several years, managing employee relations matters, industrial disputes, and significant internal restructures.

Melody worked in the employment team at Ashurst in Brisbane. In that role, she was involved in the provision of high-level industrial advice, as well as Federal and Supreme Court employment litigation.
