Training for new or returning councillors in Queensland is a crucial component of their roles in serving your communities effectively.

Peak’s 2024 Councillor Induction Program aims to equip your Elected Members with the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding of their responsibilities and obligations as councillors.

Through a comprehensive curriculum, your Elected Members will gain insights into local government processes, decision-making frameworks, and community engagement strategies. Our training also focuses on fostering ethical conduct, effective communication, and collaborative problem-solving.

By providing a solid foundation, this training empowers new councillors to navigate the complexities of their roles and make informed decisions that positively impact their constituents and the broader community.
